Kevin

He is my own personal Prince Charming; my maker of the best breakfast; my faithful soundboard; my consistent cheerleader; the one I look to for guidance and affirmation; my best friend; my love: my husband. Oh- and most recently: my model :)

I made my hubby model for me because I don't have any good shots of just him. He got a little embarassed, but I think he was secretly diggin' it. Check him out! Woooohooo!

One of the first shots:

Getting Warmed Up:

Hello!!!

For those of you who think this blog is cheesy.....whateva- I can do what I want! :)

Elayna

I have been photographing Elayna pretty much since she was born. So when I pulled up to her house today and saw this big girl waving to me, my mouth dropped! Obviously kids grow...but so fast?! It made me realize how fast the time is flying...I've got to try to remember to slow down and enjoy these times...because they're only here for a short while...
Trouble is spelled E-L-A-Y-N-A!

I love her squishy little smile!

Two gorgeous girls!

Peek-a-boo! So cute!

All dressed up and no place to go! :)

I have been a bit neglectful of the ole blog lately...stay tuned- more posts to follow!

Kwame

I LOVE photographing Kwame! I have never met a 6 year old with more personality than he has. Kwame informed me quite seriously that he has a job. He's not kidding. Kwame's mom contacted me for some updated headshots. He has done work for Disney, H&M and also Noggin! Quite the resume for such a little guy :) It's no wonder with his infectious laugh and amazing personality. During our session he would just randomly bust out in some serious dance moves. Take a look!
Wait for it:

Here we go!

We had fun hangin' out on the playground:

Drum Roll Please!!!

Okay-so I am sorry for the delay in posting the recipient of the "Pay It Forward" project. The truth is I had a total of about 20 nominations for this project. I was able to narrow it down to about 3 different people. I then couldn't make a decision so I turned to the one who I ALWAYS turn to when I need help with this kind of stuff. My hubby! Yup-I copped out because the decision was just too hard. I provided him with the nominees and their stories...he then chose the winner without knowing who submitted the nomination (just wanted to make sure we were being fair!).
The choice was SOO hard to make, but the winner of my "Pay It Forward" project for this year is: ASHLEY BERUBE TUCKER!!! Yay!!!
I don't personally know Ashley, but she was nominated by three seperate people- yup: three!
I will post more at a later date regarding her story, but for those of you who nominated her, you will be hearing from me so that I can get Ashley's contact information. Thank you for all of your nominations and Happy Belated Valentines!

One more week...

...to "Pay it Forward"!

Some of you have nominated people, but not left a comment on the blog- that is okay! Next Saturday, Valentine's Day, I will be announcing the recipient of the "Pay it Forward" package!
Click here for more details: (http://imagesbyshari.blogspot.com/2009/01/pay-it-forward.html)

Please, don't forget to nominate someone; anyone who you think could use a little lift. Someone who would love to have a portrait session done of just them, or with their family or loved ones...someone who you feel deserves it! Let me hear it! Don't be lazy...send your nominations to sharischoener@yahoo.com by Friday, February 13th!! I can't wait!

Here's a shot from a Boudoir session I did a week or so ago. These portraits will be made into an album and presented to her lucky husband for Valentines day....shoot me an email or call if this is something you're interested in!

Natalie

This morning I had SUCH a blast getting to take Natalie's pictures. She is four months old and I was IN LOVE. You would've been to.

Seriously...are her lashes for real?!

She has two adoring big brothers- we had to make sure they weren't left out!

This is one of my favorites:

Or maybe in color?

Almost makes me want another one! :)
